I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist, a Canadian Certified Counsellor, a Yoga Instructor with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. My approach integrates somatic therapy and neurobiology, which
allows me to understand the deep connection between body and mind in the healing
process. I help my clients navigate grief, trauma, and emotional pain in a way that honors both their physical and emotional experiences.
Having spent decades in the field, I specialize in somatic grief therapy, where I work
with clients to process and release stored emotions in the body, helping them heal from the inside out. My work is grounded in neurobiological principles, which help explain the physiological impact of trauma and loss on the brain and body. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your grief and emotions at your own pace, with respect and compassion.
In our sessions, I aim to foster healing through body based practices and mindfulness techniques that help you reconnect with yourself, process your emotions, and find a sense of balance and renewal. My approach is personalized to meet your unique needs and experiences.
Outside of my professional life, I have a deep connection to nature, which informs both my personal well-being and my therapeutic approach. The grounding energy of nature has always been an important part of my life, and I bring this sense of connection and balance into my work with clients. I am passionate about mindfulness, yoga, and other integrative practices that support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
My commitment to each client is rooted in empathy, respect, and a belief in the body's innate ability to heal. It would be an honor to support you on your journey toward healing and transformation.
I am a member of the College of Counselling Therapist of New Brunswick, the Canadian Counselling and Psychothrapy Association, the International Yoga Association and the Alliance of Professional Naturopaths and Neurotherapies.
